My brand style guides always include your typical logo usage, color palette, and typography. In additional, I am always sure to include (or work with a copywriter to include) in-depth information about a brands’s core audience, and how those consumers should be spoken to. Voice and tone of voice is key for not only developing effective marketing messages, but also for employees in all departments to understand the brand they are working for through the eyes of consumers.
